Nursery to Middle Classes

The Preschool at the National Institute for the Deaf is grounded in the belief that all children are individuals who learn in their own way and at their own pace. Children of middle-school age go through rapid developmental changes that present unique educational needs, and our teachers plan lessons around each child.

Matriculation (9th–10th Class)

Each student’s Individualised Education Plan determines the best programme for them, including students with additional disabilities.

National Institute for the Deaf places emphasis on teaching life and work-related skills that can be transferred into real-life experiences. Students are introduced to technology used in daily life — such as video phones, iPads and visual alerting systems — and staff and students work closely with local businesses and workshops so that students learn skills they can use after they graduate.
